In Hegemony you are at the helm of an entire nation! But don't worry, you don't have to give speeches or cut ribbons. This is a tough struggle between social classes, political interests and economic forces. Will you side with the working class and fight for social reforms? Or will you join the big companies to bend the free market to your will? Maybe you prefer the state and try to hold everything together? Whatever you choose: your decisions determine the fate of the nation!

Hegemony is an asymmetric political board game for 2-4 players in which you try to make your class seize power. Negotiate, build companies, call strikes, trade and lobby for new laws to expand your influence. Play smart and make sure your agenda becomes the dominant force.

This game was developed with the help of renowned academics and works in realistic economic and political concepts such as socialism, neoliberalism, nationalism and globalism. But don't worry, you don't need a degree in economics: it is all about strategy, clever moves and power games.

Who will seize power? Who decides the future? Time to write history!

About the game

In Hegemony players represent different social classes within a fictional state. Each class has a unique play style and strategy to achieve hegemony.

• The working class works in factories and fights for better wages and social security. Use strikes and strengthen unions to increase your influence.
• The capitalist class builds companies and chases profits. You decide where people work and how high the wages are. Money is power!
• The middle class balances between the two worlds. They can start small businesses and also benefit from better working conditions.
• The state has to keep everything running. Collect taxes, pass laws and make sure the whole thing does not collapse.

Influence policy, vote on bills and carry out strategic actions to bring your class to the top. This is not a straightforward board game: Hegemony is a deep, gripping and topical game that offers you new challenges again and again.
