Motel Spooky Nine

Welcome to Motel Spooky Nine, a writing game in which you travel with pen and paper to a romantic holiday resort full of extraordinary guests. From creatures out of forgotten myths to visitors from other dimensions: everyone comes here to unwind. And you are here to make connections and write down your story. This is a game you play alone, at your own pace. With a journal, a deck of playing cards and a small personal object, you build a story piece by piece. The cards point you in a direction, and you fill in the rest. That creates a series of moments and encounters that are entirely your own, written in your own words. Motel Spooky Nine is intended for adults, because you write fiction in which sensitive themes may also come up. So play mindfully. You will need your own journal, a standard deck of playing cards, a small object and a die. In the box you will find a stapled booklet of 14 by 21.6 cm with all the rules and tables.
